Premise
At 48, divorced baker Elena Voss returns to her hometown of Crescent Harbor, a serene coastal haven dotted with a historic lighthouse and quiet harbor, to resurrect the dusty Oven Hearth Bakery inherited from her mother. Scarred by her ex-husband's betrayal, which left her questioning her worth and vowing never to risk her heart again, Elena throws herself into the renovation, determined to prove she can rebuild alone amid the town's gentle bustle of boardwalk bookshops and cozy inns. When a ruthless investor threatens to raze the bakery for luxury condos, Elena's fragile dream hangs in the balance, forcing her into reluctant partnership with 52-year-old widower Marcus Hale, the skilled carpenter and innkeeper whose own losses have made him wary of new bonds. As they navigate forced proximity through repairs, stormy nights, and community events, their guarded walls crumble in tender, laughter-filled moments, promising a heartfelt second-chance romance where rediscovering trust and passion in midlife could heal old wounds—or shatter everything they've fought to reclaim.
