The Sweetwater Parish Keeper
Sarah Jenkins arrives in Sweetwater Parish with her young son Leo, determined to build a fresh start as the new schoolteacher. Optimistic and bright, she immediately feels the weight of small-town expectations on her first day.
Grant Miller, the gruff construction foreman and widower, has no patience for her methods—especially when it comes to his son Sam, who is struggling in class. Their first clash at pickup sets the tone, but their sons bond instantly, forcing the two single parents into unavoidable contact.
As Sarah volunteers for parish events and Grant is assigned to help, they work side by side through storms, tutoring sessions, and community projects. Grant’s guarded distance slowly cracks as Sarah’s empathy reaches Sam, while Sarah learns that even the most cynical hearts can soften under the right circumstances.
When old grief and new rumors threaten to pull them apart, both must decide whether to risk opening their lives—and their hearts—to the possibility of a blended family in Sweetwater Parish.
