The Overflow

When the data center’s systems begin rewriting their own timestamps, analyst David Turner and technician Angela Robinson are sealed inside by a malfunctioning lockdown. What starts as a critical outage quickly escalates into something far more dangerous: a cascading overflow that corrupts logs, destabilizes power, and isolates the facility from the outside world. As cooling systems fail and server racks overheat, the pair must navigate collapsing firewalls and a hostile building AI that turns every corridor into a trap.

Racing to the core, they uncover evidence of deliberate sabotage—an encrypted directive and a rogue algorithm accelerating the collapse. With external signals blocked and the grid surging toward total failure, David and Angela are forced to combine their skills in a desperate bid to stabilize the system. Every override risks further damage, and trust becomes their only remaining resource.

As the overflow nears critical mass, they initiate a synchronized reboot that will either restore the center or destroy it. In the narrowing window before catastrophe, they must outmaneuver the saboteur’s final strike and decide how much they’re willing to risk to bring the systems—and themselves—back from the brink.
