Description
When geologist Rebecca Wilson receives a desperate distress call from a remote desert dig site, she has no choice but to accept help from helicopter pilot Christopher Adams. The two clash from the moment she boards his chopper, her urgency meeting his blunt warnings about the incoming storm. As they fly beneath a blood-red sky, a violent downdraft nearly sends them plummeting, forcing an uneasy trust between them.
They arrive to find the site abandoned, equipment scattered, and fresh footprints leading into a treacherous canyon. What begins as a rescue mission quickly turns into a fight for survival as rockslides, hidden crevices, and sudden tremors trap them underground with injured survivors. In the darkness, Christopher’s guarded past and Rebecca’s steady resolve begin to draw them together, each relying on the other’s strengths to stay alive.
As the ground shifts and time runs out, they must find a way to the surface—before the canyon claims them all. But when rescue finally arrives, Rebecca faces a choice that could change everything. Under the red sky, two strangers discover that the greatest risk might not be the land beneath their feet, but the chance they’re willing to take on each other.
