The Ghost Road

When Rowan Hale’s car breaks down on a remote stretch of Appalachian road, the silence feels alive. Locals call it the Ghost Road, a place where people vanish and the trees seem to watch. Stranded and wary of the past she’s running from, Rowan accepts help from park ranger Caleb Boone—steady, guarded, and clearly hiding fears of his own.
