A scheming county auditor threatens to condemn the cannery, but eerie phantom clangs and ghostly traces of long-ago cooks push Elena and Miles into a race to uncover Redhaven’s culinary past. Sorting through 1894 ledgers, 1912 recipe sheets, and faded maps, they revive forgotten food-sharing traditions while the town’s heritage hangs in the balance.

As catwalks collapse and spectral winds sweep through the cannery, old wounds reopen and new passion ignites. Miles admits he still wants the cannery restored for Redhaven’s families; Elena realizes the project can heal both the town and her wandering soul.

Together they gather volunteers, face demolition crews, and host a coastal food festival that reclaims the cannery’s legacy. In the lantern-lit restoration night, their rekindled love and the town’s revival become one.
