Premise

Claire Rowan, a 49-year-old divorced archivist still nursing the scars of a loveless marriage and a youthful heartbreak, returns to her coastal hometown of Harbor's Edge to catalog decades of forgotten records at the historic lighthouse. Guarded and fiercely independent after years of rebuilding alone, she vows to keep her focus on the work, determined not to let the past derail her hard-won stability—until she discovers Ethan Marlow, her long-lost first love, now a rugged lighthouse engineer overseeing its restoration. When a private investor threatens to automate the lighthouse and seal off public access to its irreplaceable history, Claire and Ethan are thrust into forced proximity to co-author a preservation report, reigniting buried sparks amid moonlit inspections and stormy nights trapped inside. With the town's legacy—and her own guarded heart—hanging in the balance, Claire must confront whether risking vulnerability for a second chance at passion is worth the peril of reliving old pain, promising a sensual journey of rediscovery, consent-driven intimacy, and the deep emotional pull of reclaimed love in a small-town haven.
