The Midnight Aurora

In the remote wilds of Iceland, photographer Aurora arrives chasing the northern lights, only to find the sky strangely silent. Paired with Leif, a brooding ranger haunted by his own past, she soon discovers her long-exposure shots reveal something impossible: a pale figure standing beneath the aurora, watching.

As the lights finally ignite in breathtaking color, the figure appears again and again—always near Leif. What begins as a reluctant partnership deepens into something far more intimate as Aurora learns the spirit bears the face of the woman he lost to the winter years ago. Trapped between worlds, it beckons them toward a frozen lake where grief, love, and unfinished goodbyes still linger.

Drawn by the spirit’s silent plea, Aurora must decide whether to help it find release—or risk awakening darker forces that guard the land’s ancient sorrow. In the glow of the midnight aurora, two lost souls will confront what they cannot outrun: the past that binds them, and the fragile hope of letting go.
