The Spirit in the Snow

In the silence of a remote Icelandic village buried beneath endless winter, folklorist Lena arrives seeking stories of old spirits. Instead, she finds the snow itself watching her, and a man named Eirik who walks with pale figures at his back. The villagers warn her to stay away, but the strange frost that forms on her windows spells her name in runes she cannot read, and the whispers on her recordings grow louder each night.

Drawn to Eirik’s quiet sorrow, Lena learns the spirits have followed him since childhood, bound by an ancient oath that feeds on his loneliness. As a merciless blizzard traps them together, the line between protection and possession begins to blur. When the spirits turn hostile, Lena must decide how far she will go to break the curse that has haunted him—and whether the fragile bond forming between them can survive the storm.

To free Eirik, she may have to surrender more than she ever imagined.
