Premise
Iris Camden, a 55-year-old widowed shoreline naturalist, returns to the healing embrace of Crescent Harbor to resurrect the Tidepool Learning Center, her late husband's legacy now her only anchor. Scarred by profound grief that has left her wary of new bonds, she immerses herself in the rhythm of tides and tidepools, vowing to rebuild the center—and her life—alone, far from the vulnerability of love's unpredictable currents. When a ruthless investor eyes the pristine tidepools for a luxury resort, Iris must team up with Jonah Reeves, the weathered retired sailor whose quiet strength mirrors her own hidden resilience as he restores his old boat by the harbor. With the center's future and her guarded heart on the line, their forced proximity sparks tentative trust amid community rallies and stormy nights, weaving a tender second-chance romance where emotional renewal promises to transform loss into luminous possibility.
