Premise
Lydia Shaw, a driven cartographer scarred by the childhood tragedy of her father's disappearance at sea and the heartbreak of abandoning her first love to chase a career far from home, returns to the fog-shrouded cliffs of Harborfield, a fading coastal town nestled at the edge of the Appalachians. Accompanied by whispers of regret, she arrives at the crumbling 1891 lighthouse—once her family's beacon—to survey it for a heritage restoration project, only to nearly plummet from a decayed stairwell into the churning waves below. There, Noah Briggs, the rugged grandson of the lighthouse's last keeper and the man whose heart she shattered years ago, grabs her arm, his touch reigniting old wounds and unspoken longing amid the salt-lashed ruins. When scheming County Commissioner Richard Hale declares the lighthouse doomed for demolition to build a soulless observation deck, Lydia and Noah forge an uneasy alliance to unearth forgotten logs, maps, and ghostly echoes that reveal Harborfield's maritime soul—risking everything from treacherous cliffs and vengeful crews to their fragile second chance at love. With the town's heritage and their own redemption hanging by a frayed rope, they navigate passion-fueled nights in hidden lofts and defiant stands against progress, promising a sweeping tale of rekindled romance, spectral mystery, and the healing power of reclaimed roots.
