Description
After her marriage ends, jewelry maker Grace arrives in the drafty cottage at Beacon Shore determined to start over. No longer crafting flawless diamonds, she turns her torch and jeweler’s saw to jagged sea glass, searching for beauty in what the ocean has already shaped.
On the docks she meets Callum, a quiet fisherman who notices the sure way she holds her tools. As a toxic red tide turns the shoreline bruised and purple, the state closes the beach, cutting off Grace’s inspiration and Callum’s livelihood. Their friction over scrap metal and old assumptions slowly gives way to respect, shared labor, and the heat of a forge where Grace melts down her wedding band.
Together they organize the harbor cleanup, chase evidence of factory dumping, and stand against the return of Grace’s ex-husband. In the process Grace finds her voice, Callum offers the rare gift of space, and both discover that tempered hearts can still burn bright.
Against the backdrop of volunteer crews, Harbor Sisters support, and the steady rhythm of tides returning to clear blue, Grace and Callum build something lasting: a partnership of equals who see strength in every unpolished edge.
