Description
In the fog-bound town of Oakhaven, musician Jasper Cole has spent years isolated on his porch, strumming melodies haunted by the unsolved mystery of his parents’ deaths. When Elara appears from his past with a warning that shadowy figures are collecting on his father’s old debts, the familiar mist turns menacing.
Eerie pursuers close in with chants and snapping branches, forcing Jasper and Elara to flee into the ancient woods. They take shelter beneath a massive oak where shared danger begins to crack Jasper’s emotional walls and kindle an unexpected connection.
Jasper’s guitar becomes more than an instrument of grief; its chords weave through Oakhaven’s buried feuds, lost loves, and festering secrets. Elara’s intimate knowledge of the shadows suggests she may hold the key to breaking the mist’s deadly hold.
As supernatural threats press closer, Jasper must confront the truth behind his family’s past and decide whether the tentative bond forming between him and Elara can survive the darkness gathering around them.
