Description
Frankie Malone, a former barrel racer who lost her leg in a riding accident, returns to Sweetgum Ridge to teach lessons and reclaim her independence. She butts heads with Sheriff Dean Carter over strict safety rules for her classes, unearthing old wounds from their shared past. As tension builds into unexpected attraction, they learn that moving forward means accepting scars rather than erasing them.

Julie Adams –
This book’s got real heart in the way Frankie and Dean keep circling each other, both trying to figure out how to live with what they’ve lost. The lessons at the ranch felt alive, like you could almost smell the dust and hear the horses, and the small-town tension made the pages fly. Ended up rooting for both of them to stop fighting the past and just let things be what they are now.
