Maren declines the city promotion, moves her equipment into the expanded cabin, and accepts the ring Silas carved from the cliff’s core. At the harbor festival the town toasts their integrity; the mountain finally quiets, and the light they reflect for each other becomes the strongest beacon in Crescent Harbor.
