Description
Elena returns to Crescent Harbor at 47 to restore her family lighthouse, only to confront the man who shattered her heart two decades earlier. The structure is failing, its foundation shifting toward the Atlantic, and the town has given her just sixty days to prove it can be saved or watch it be demolished forever.
Forced into an uneasy partnership with Liam, the only man who knows how to repair the lighthouse’s unique 72-second rotation, Elena begins the grueling work of scraping paint, pouring foundations, and rappelling into hidden sea caves. Every joint inspection and late-night argument over blueprints forces them to face the rainy night in 1999 when she said no and left for the city.
As storms batter the coast and sabotage threatens their progress, the physical labor becomes a bridge across twenty years of silence. Elena discovers Liam never stopped caring for the light in her absence, while he learns the city was never enough to erase what they once shared.
With the council deadline looming and old wounds finally opened, Elena must decide whether she is only here to save a building or whether she is ready to stay and rebuild a life beside the man she never stopped loving.
