Description
After a very public divorce, interior designer Michelle Scott arrives in the quiet town of Mooncrest seeking a fresh start. Her first project is the long-neglected Blackwood Manor, a chance to prove she can still create beauty from ruins. What she doesn’t expect is Mark Robinson, the brilliant but reclusive landscape architect assigned to the grounds.
Mark has spent years protecting the wild, historic gardens he designed long ago, and he has no interest in compromising his vision for a modern luxury retreat. Their professional clash is immediate and intense, yet the manor’s owner makes it clear: neither will be paid unless they produce a single, unified design where the inside meets the outside.
As storms trap them inside the old house and they work side by side to uncover the “lost path” of the original garden, walls begin to crumble. Mark’s quiet grief over his late wife mirrors Michelle’s own scars from public humiliation. Together they discover that restoring Blackwood Manor may also mean restoring their own hearts.
Through shared blueprints, muddy rescues, and a growing partnership, Michelle and Mark learn that second chances can bloom in the most overgrown places. Their collaboration transforms the manor—and themselves—into something stronger and more beautiful than either imagined.
