Description
After thirty years of teaching and raising her children, Amy Ross finds herself alone in a silent house with a retirement letter she never wanted. The dual endings leave her hollow, so she drives to Panama City Beach hoping the constant motion of the Gulf will quiet the grief over the life she expected to live.
On the boardwalk she meets David Williams, who is liquidating his beachfront shop after a devastating financial betrayal. Both have come to the water to mourn futures that will never happen.
